This policy brief provides a summary of the research results from Work Package 3 ‘Discrimination in hiring’ of the project, as well as a series of policy recommendations based on these findings.
The research studied which company characteristics make recruiters more or less likely to discriminate based on ethnicity/nationality or caregiving responsibilities for young children when hiring. Based on the findings, the policy brief proposes specific recommendations highlighting how employers, policymakers, and social partners can translate evidence into concrete action to reduce hiring discrimination and foster more inclusive workplaces.
